AARP Holds a Call for Artists

If you're an amateur artist, and a member of AARP, now is your chance to shine! AARP is holding a call for artists to put together its 2010 calendar, titled "There's Nowhere I'd Rather Be." Fourteen paintings will be chosen. Winners will be announced at the AARP national convention in Las Vegas (October 22-24, 2009).

Some of the rules and guideline:

• Eligible works of art must be amateur oil, pastel, acrylic, or watercolor works
• Must be an original work of art
• Must be an AARP member
