Conducted by Alfred Gershfeld, the New World School of the Arts High School Orchestra opens this year's season with the 2nd movement of Tchaikovsky's "Symphony No. 4" and Rimsky-Korsakov's "Capriccio Espagnol." Performing alongside the group of 55 musicians will be the String Quartet, also from the NWSA High School division, coached by Aaron Merritt, and the High School Brass Quintet, coached by Lee Morrison.
